The Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) strongly believes that today’s students and Postdocs are the future of in vitro biology. We encourage the continued growth of upcoming researchers and scientists as part of our continued commitment to science. Under 21 years old?
HOTEL POLICIES FOR THOSE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE
The law in Nevada notes that a person under the age of 21 years shall not:
(a) Play, be allowed to play, place wagers at, or collect winnings from, whether personally or through an agent, any gambling game, slot machine, race book, sports pool or pari-mutuel operator.
(b) Loiter, or be permitted to loiter, in or about any room or premises wherein any licensed game, race book, sports pool or pari-mutuel wagering is operated or conducted.
This means that any attendee who is under the age of 21 at the meeting is not allowed to gamble anywhere on the premises, sit at any of the bars or gambling tables (even if not gambling), or enter the casinos unless it is to travel to one of the restaurants on the premises of the Peppermill Casino (Oceano, Romanza, Sports Deli, or Cafe Milano).
