Accepted payment methods
Registration forms will not be processed unless accompanied by one of the following methods of payment:
- Company or personal check (U.S. currency only; list all registrants on the check memo or stub)
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express
- Wire transfer (U.S. currency only; cover any bank processing fees or you will be billed the balance due)
What your registration includes
The registration fee includes admission to all sessions (including the Saturday pre-conference workshops); the exhibition; invitations to the Fruit & Cheese Welcome, the Opening Ceremony Reception, and the Joint Sections Social at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch; a registration bag, meeting materials and publications; and access to the event website & mobile app.

- * Not a member of SIVB? Choose the Combination Membership & Meeting registration to receive a discounted registration rate plus SIVB membership for one calendar year (January–December 2027). Membership includes a subscription to In Vitro Cellular and Developmental Biology – Animal or – Plant and the In Vitro Report.

Notes
- Combination Membership + Registration. Bundles 2027 membership with meeting registration at a discount versus registering as a nonmember.
- Postdoc and Research Technician/Assistant Registration Options. Postdocs and Research Technicians/Assistants have the same registration opportunities as regular attendees. Those who are members are eligible to register at a discounted rate with proof of status. Nonmember Postdocs or Research Technicians/Assistants can choose to either (1) purchase the discounted Combination Membership/Meeting Registration Rate (see benefits above) or (2) register as a nonmember.
- Research Technician/Assistant rates are for those who are working in a lab as a technician assisting a scientist on their research. This applies to Research Technicians, Research Assistants, and Research Associates.
- Proof of status required. Proof of student, Postdoctoral, or Research Technician/Assistant status will be required upon registering for the 2027 In Vitro Biology Meeting or the full registration rate will be required. Proof of Student status may be one (1) of the following: copy of Student ID, letter from supervisor, or current class schedule. Proof of Postdoctoral or Research Technician/Assistant status is a letter from your supervisor verifying your current status. Please email this information to the SIVB Business Office or fax it to (410) 969-7941.
- Accompanying guest. For non-scientist companions only.
- Group Registration Rates. SIVB is offering a special registration rate to any Company or University that wishes to register larger groups of their employees to attend the meeting. If your organization has 5 or more employees who wish to attend the meeting either in person or through the On-Demand Limited Access Program, you can register all employees for a flat rate as listed in the table above. Contact the Meeting Secretariat to receive the Group Registration Form. If you have fewer than 5 employees and would like to learn about group rate options for your organization, contact the Meeting Secretariat for more information.
- Sponsor-a-Buddy Program. The Sponsor-a-Buddy Program supports the SIVB’s Student Initiative. For only $25, members and attendees of the SIVB Annual Meeting can help support a student “buddy.” Contributions will be used to support student activities for the meeting. Contributors will be acknowledged with a special ribbon at the 2027 In Vitro Biology Meeting.
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for cancellations and/or refunds must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to an administrative processing fee of $50.00. The amount refunded is determined by the date the request is received:
- By March 31, 2027Full refund, less the $50 administrative fee
- April 1 – May 13, 2027One-half refund, less the $50 administrative fee
- After May 13, 2027No refunds issued
Exceptions are made for attendees unable to attend due to a country ban, government-restricted travel, or airline restrictions; those individuals may cancel after the deadline and receive a full refund of the paid registration rate minus the $50 non-refundable administrative fee. Abstract fees are non-refundable.
