The Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) was founded in 1946 as the Tissue Culture Association to foster exchange of knowledge of in vitro biology of cells, tissues and organs from both plant and animals. The SIVB Education Committee was subsequently organized to provide further education to our members and outreach programs to K-12 Teachers, and the community.
The mission of the SIVB Education Committee is to provide further education to our members and outreach programs to K-12 Teachers, and the community. All SIVB members interested in the activities and programs of the Committee are welcome to join. The Education Core Committee is drawn from the larger committee and represents the talents of all sections of the Society. The Core Committee consists of those individuals who are active on a continuous basis in the year-round planning and execution of education programs.
