We are only 3 months away from getting to see each other again face-to-face in San Diego. SIVB is busy making arrangements so everything will be ready for your arrival to our annual meeting from June 4 – 7! And you know what that means…

It’s time to make reservations!

We realize that many people were not sure whether they could make plans to join us, but things are looking up, so it’s the perfect time to book that flight, reserve your space at the Town and Country San Diego, and register to attend.

Hotel Reservations

The Town and Country Resort San Diego is the official hotel of the in-person 2022 In Vitro Biology Meeting, and we can’t wait to welcome you there! Don’t forget to make your reservations as soon as possible! Our block of rooms at the Town and Country is limited. The hotel may run out of space well in advance of the April 27 group rate cut off, so don’t delay.

Recently, the conference hotel underwent extensive renovations, and we get to be some of the first to enjoy this upgraded experience!

  • A commitment to health and wellness in line with the current city, state and national health and safety guidelines,
  • Five lively restaurants and a modern lounge,
  • Three pools, a 4-story waterslide, and private cabanas,
  • Fire pits, sand volleyball courts, and sun-kissed relaxation for days.
  • Within walking distance to the Fashion Valley Mall with over 200 shops, dining locations and an 18-screen movie theater and the Fashion Valley stop of San Diego’s Light rail with easy transportation to destinations throughout San Diego,
  • And so much more!

Meeting Registration

This year more than ever it’s important for you to register to join us in advance. There are additional health and safety requirements to participate in the in-person meeting, so the earlier you can register the better your arrival experience will be!

Special EventS

Ships of the Seven Seas: Tuesday Evening at the Maritime Museum
Tuesday evening, June 7, we will be visiting the Maritime Museum of San Diego for a private dinner event. The museum has one of the world’s finest collections of historic ships, including the Star of India, an 1863 iron bark which is the oldest operational ship in the world. Hear tales of rum-running pirates, man the cannons in a naval battle royale, learn to navigate by the stars, and lots more. This event includes admission to the museum, historical ships, dinner on the Berkeley, a drink ticket, and cash bar. A limited number of discounted tickets will be made available to student registrants while supplies last. Pick up a ticket as you register, or, if you have already registered for the meeting, you can still add a ticket to attend this fun event today!

On-Demand Registration

For those who are unable to travel to San Diego, SIVB is offering an Exclusive On-Demand Limited Program option which will provide access to pre-recorded presentations from some of the key highlights of the 2022 program. This will include presentations from the virtual poster sessions, daily plenary sessions, the joint session on Vaccine Development, the student-organized symposium, and most importantly, the Keynote Presentation by Dr. Thomas Hartung. These pre-recorded presentations will be made available for your viewing after the live 2022 Meeting ends on June 8 and will remain available through September 30, 2022. Sessions that are being planned for inclusion in the on-demand content will be marked by an asterisk (*) on the program page of the 2022 Meeting. Please note that the list of included sessions may be subject to change.
