2024–2026 Election Results
The 2024 – 2024 elections are complete. Below are the results. All eligible members were sent an electronic ballot and received instructions on how to vote. All elected members will take office beginning at the SIVB Annual Meeting in June 2024 in St. Louis.

2024 In Vitro Biology Meeting Keynote Speaker
SIVB is pleased to share that Dr. A. Mark Settles, Synthetic Biology Investigator at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center and Emeritus Professor at University of Florida, Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology Program and Horticultural Sciences Department has agreed to be the 2024 World Congress on In Vitro Biology Keynote Speaker.

2023 SIVB Lifetime Achievement Award – Dr. Bill Gordon-Kamm
The highest honor given by the Society for In Vitro Biology is the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is presented to scientists who are considered pioneers or highly influential researchers to the science and art of cell culture.

The Society for In Vitro Biology established the Fellow Award to recognize outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to the field of in vitro biology and demonstrated service to the Society.

In Memoriam: Dr. Nelly Auersperg
Dr. Nelly Auersperg, M.D., Ph.D., the 1997 recipient of the Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) Lifetime Achievement Award, passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of ninety-four. In1955, Dr. Auersberg graduated from the University of Washington with an M.D. degree…
